POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • LH reclining motor

  • Driver seat control unit

  • Wiring

FAIL-SAFE

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CONSULT

  1. Ignition switch ON and wait for 20 seconds or more.

  2. Check “Self diagnosis result” mode of “DRIVER SEAT”.

Is DTC detected?

YES>>

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK RECLINING MOTOR SENSOR SIGNAL

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect driver seat control unit and LH reclining motor.

  3. Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.

B213 36 Ground Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Connect driver seat control unit and LH reclining motor. Component Function Check

NO>>

Repair the harness or connector.
