PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

Ignition switch ON and wait for 20 seconds or more.

Check “Self diagnosis result” mode of “DRIVER SEAT”.
Is DTC detected?
YES>>Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO-1>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO-2>>Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK RECLINING MOTOR SENSOR SIGNAL

Ignition switch OFF.
-
Disconnect driver seat control unit and LH reclining motor.
-
Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.

YES>>Connect driver seat control unit and LH reclining motor. Component Function Check

CHECK ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE WARNING LAMP FUNCTION
Check that electric parking brake warning lamp in combination meter
turns ON for approximately 1 second after ignition switch is ON.
