  • Seat cushion heater RH

  • Front seat back heater RH

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CONSULT

  1. Start the engine.

  2. Select “Self diagnosis result” mode of “HVAC”.

Is DTC detected?

YES>>

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

DTC Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK FRONT SEAT BACK HEATER RH CIRCUIT (SHORT TO GROUND)

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect front seat heater RH connector and front seat back heater RH connector.

  3. Check continuity between front seat back heater RH harness connector and ground.

    Front seat back heater RH ー Continuity
    Connector Terminal
    B309 2 Ground No

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace front seat back heater RH. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly.

NO>>

Replace seat cushion heater RH. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly.
