Component Inspection
CHECK CHARGE AIR COOLER (CAC) TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Turn ignition switch OFF.
-
Remove CAC coolant temperature sensor. Refer to Exploded View.
-
Check the resistance between CAC coolant temperature sensor terminals under the following conditions.
Charge air cooler temperature sensor Condition Resistance Terminal 2 1 Temperature [°C (°F)] 20 (68) 2.37 – 2.63 kΩ 50 (122) 0.68 – 1.00 kΩ 90 (194) 0.236 – 0.260 kΩ
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>INSPECTION END
NO>>Replace CAC coolant temperature sensor. Refer to Exploded View.
