Nissan Rogue (T33) 2021-Present Owner’s Manual & User Guide: Basic information
WARNING
- The heater and air conditioner function only when the engine is running.
- Never leave children, dependent adults, or pets alone in the vehicle. Temperature inside a closed vehicle can rise rapidly and cause injury or death. They may also accidentally activate controls.
- Avoid using recirculation mode for extended periods. This can cause stale air and window fogging.
- Do not adjust climate controls while driving; full attention to vehicle operation is required.
The heating and cooling system operates when the engine is running, but the blower can continue working if the ignition switch is ON, even with the engine off.
NOTE:
- Odors from inside or outside the vehicle can accumulate in the air conditioning unit and enter through the ventilators.
- When parking the vehicle, set the system to allow fresh air intake instead of recirculation to help reduce interior odors.
When the Idling Stop System temporarily stops the engine, turning on the front defroster will restart the engine automatically. If the engine is running, turning on the defroster prevents the Idling Stop System from shutting it off.
If the engine is stopped by the Idling Stop System, heating and cooling performance may be reduced. For full system performance, restart the engine using the Idling Stop OFF switch.
