CORNER SENSOR [FL]

(Corner sensor [FL]) 		Diagnosis condition When ignition switch is ON
Signal (terminal) Front sonar sensor LH outer power supply
Threshold More than 27 V
Diagnosis delay time 4 seconds or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • Harness and connector between sonar control unit and Front sonar sensor LH outer

  • Sonar control unit

FAIL-SAFE

Stop the obstacle detection function

CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

With CONSULT

  1. Turn ignition switch ON.

  2. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.

  3. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.

  4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “SONAR” using CONSULT.

  5. Check the DTC.

Is DTC “B2729–16” detected?

YES>>

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK FRONT SONAR SENSOR POWER SUPPLY

Check front sonar sensor power supply circuit. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

INSPECTION END

NO>>

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
