DTC DETECTION LOGIC

B2724-55

SONAR CONTROL UNIT

(Sonar control unit) 		Diagnosis condition When ignition switch is ON
Signal (terminal) —
Threshold Configuration is incomplete
Diagnosis delay time 4 seconds or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Vehicle specifications for sonar control unit is incomplete

FAIL-SAFE

Stop the obstacle detection function

CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

With CONSULT

  1. Turn ignition switch ON.

  2. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.

  3. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.

  4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “SONAR” using CONSULT.

  5. Check the DTC.

Is DTC “B2724-55” detected?

YES>>

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

Diagnosis Procedure

PERFORM CONFIGURATION OF SONAR CONTROL UNIT

Perform configuration of sonar control unit. Refer to Description.

GO TO 2.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

With Consult

  1. Turn ignition switch ON.

  2. Erase DTC.

  3. Perform DTC confirmation procedure again. Refer to DTC Description.

Is DTC “B2724–55” detected?

YES>>

Replace sonar control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation..

NO>>

INSPECTION END
