CORNER SENSOR [RL]

(Corner sensor [rear left])
Diagnosis condition When ignition switch is ON
Signal (terminal)
Threshold Configuration of sonar control unit is incomplete or wrong.
Diagnosis delay time 4 seconds or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • Configuration incomplete

  • Configuration setting error

  • Rear sonar sensor LH outer

FAIL-SAFE

Stop the obstacle detection function

CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

With CONSULT

  1. Turn ignition switch ON.

  2. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.

  3. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.

  4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “SONAR” using CONSULT.

  5. Check the DTC.

Is DTC “B2720–05” detected?

YES>>

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

Diagnosis Procedure

PERFORM CONFIGURATION OF SONAR CONTROL UNIT

Perform configuration of sonar control unit when DTC B2720–05 is detected. Refer to Description.

GO TO 2.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

With CONSULT

  1. Turn ignition switch ON.

  2. Delete the self diagnosis result.

  3. Perform DTC confirmation procedure again. Refer to DTC Description.

Is DTC “B2720–05” detected?

YES>>

Replace the rear sonar sensor LH outer. Refer to Removal and Installation.

NO>>

INSPECTION END.
