POSSIBLE CAUSE
8CH CAN gateway
FAIL-SAFE
The 8CH CAN gateway will stop transmitting and receiving the following:
-
CAN communication signals between each CAN communication circuit
-
Ethernet communication signals between each ethernet communication circuit
Confirmation Procedure
PRECONDITIONING
After the ignition switch OFF, open the driver's side door and wait for 2 minutes or more.
CAUTION:
Since the auto ACC function causes the accessory power to be turned ON, do not perform any Nissan Ariya vehicle operation including locking the doors or opening and closing of the doors during the standby state. Refer to System Description.
YES>>
GO TO 2.
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With CONSULT

Ignition switch ON and wait at least 2 seconds or more.
-
Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “8ch CAN GATEWAY 2” using CONSULT.
-
Check DTC.
Is DTC B2600-42 detected?
YES>>Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
NO-1>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Intermittent Incident
NO-2>>Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
DTC Diagnosis Procedure
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE AGAIN

Ignition switch ON.
-
Erase DTC.
-
Perform DTC confirmation procedure again. Refer to Confirmation Procedure.
-
Check DTC.
Is DTC B2600-42 displayed?
YES>>Replace 8CH CAN gateway. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>INSPECTION END
