Diagnosis Description

DESCRIPTION

On board diagnosis of A/C switch assembly can be used to perform an operation check of the indicator lamps.

STARTING PROCEDURE

Starting Self-diagnosis Mode

The self-diagnosis function starts when the A/C switch is pressed for 5 seconds or more within 10 seconds after the ignition switch places ON.

Ending Self-diagnosis Mode

Ignition switch OFF or press DEF switch.

DIAGNOSIS DESCRIPTION

Check indicators of all A/C switch assembly switches.

When normal: All Indicator lamps on A/C switch assembly turn ON.

Malfunction: The malfunctioning part does not turn ON. (A/C switch assembly malfunction)

NOTE:

If on board diagnosis does not start, check A/C switch assembly power supply and the ground circuit. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure. If the result of the check is normal, replace A/C switch assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation.
