Signal (terminal) TEL antenna signal
Threshold Short to ground
Diagnosis delay time 1 second or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • TEL antenna signal circuit is short to ground

  • TEL antenna

FAIL-SAFE

Telematics can not send and receive via network

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

With CONSULT

  1. Turn ignition switch ON.

  2. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.

  3. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.

  4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “IVC” using CONSULT.

  5. Check DTC.

Is DTC B2E34-11 detected?

YES>>

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK TEL ANTENNA SIGNAL CIRCUIT

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect TCU harness connector.

  3. Check the continuity between TCU harness connector (telematics antenna side) and ground.

    Connector Terminal

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace TCU. Refer to ixed sRemoval & Installation.

NO>>

Replace telematics antenna. Refer to Removal & Installation.
