(Front sensor) 		Diagnosis condition When ignition switch is ON
Signal (terminal) Front sensor signal
Threshold Persistent noise
Diagnosis delay time 1 seconds or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Persistent noise in the front sensors ultrasonic range (exhaust sound, heavy rain, horn) not filtered out by signal processing.

FAIL-SAFE

Obstacle detection function is deactivated.

CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

With CONSULT

  1. Turn ignition switch ON.

  2. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait for 30 seconds.

  3. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 2 seconds or more.

  4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “SONAR” using CONSULT.

  5. Check DTC.

Is DTC B2755-94 detected?

YES>>

Proceed to Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK FRONT SENSORS

Check the front sensor for dirt and damage.

Is inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE AGAIN

With CONSULT

  1. Turn ignition switch ON.

  2. Erase DTC.

  3. Perform DTC confirmation procedure again. Refer to DTC Description.

Is DTC B2755-94 detected again?

YES>>

Replace front sensors. Refer to Removal and Installation.

NO>>

INSPECTION END
