Aeb System Symptoms

CAUTION:
Before performing symptom-specific diagnosis, perform CONSULT self-diagnosis. If DTC is detected, perform DTC diagnosis first.

Aeb Warning Lamp Is Blinking
Symptom Description
Without ProPILOT Assist 2.1
The AEB OFF warning lamp is blinking or illuminating. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NOTE:
When any of the following conditions, the AEB OFF warning lamp blinks or illuminates:
-
The distance sensor area of the front of the Nissan Ariya vehicle is covered with dirt or is obstructed
-
The interior temperature of the vehicle is extremely high
-
The windshield is dirty, frosted, fogged up, or damaged in front of the front camera unit
-
The front camera unit or the front camera unit bracket is not mounted properly
With ProPILOT Assist 2.1
The AEB OFF warning lamp is blinking or illuminating. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NOTE:
When any of the following conditions, the AEB OFF warning lamp blinks or illuminates:
-
The distance sensor area of the front of the Nissan Ariya vehicle is covered with dirt or is obstructed

The interior temperature of the vehicle is extremely high
-
The windshield is dirty, frosted, fogged up, or damaged in front of the driver assistance camera
-
The driver assistance camera or the driver assistance camera bracket is not mounted properly
Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK ALL SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS
Perform all self-diagnostics for DTC and check if any DTCs are detected in the self-diagnostic results of "ICC/ADAS 2" "LASER/RADAR" and "Lane Camera".
Are any DTCs detected?
YES>>Follow the detected DTCs and perform the inspection work.
NO>>GO TO 2.
PERFORM ALL SELF-DIAGNOSTICS FOR THE CAUSE OF AUTO-CANCEL
Perform all self-diagnostics for CAUSE OF AUTO-CANCEL and check if any CAUSE OF AUTO-CANCEL are detected in the status logs of the self-diagnostic results for "LASER/RADAR" and "LANE CAMERA".
NOTE:
The CAUSE OF AUTO-CANCEL is shown on the left under the Current Status.
In the ODO/TRIP METER, values are shown in chronological order - the most recent occurrence will be shown in the left-most cell, with earlier occurrences as you go across to the right.
Either the "--" symbol or milage can indicate the occurrence of the CAUSE OF AUTO-CANCEL.

If the CAUSE OF AUTO-CANCEL is displayed as above, perform the diagnostic procedures for both Radar Sensor Misalignment and ABS Communication Error.
Are any CAUSE OF AUTO-CANCEL detected?
YES>>-
"LASER/RADAR": Refer to CONSULT Function (LASER/RADAR).

"LANE CAMERA": Refer to Diagnosis Description.
GO TO 3.
INSPECTION OF POWER SUPPLY AND GROUNDING CIRCUITS
Check the power supply and the ground circuit of the ADAS control unit 2. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>INSPECTION END
NO>>Repair the power supply and grounding circuits.
