Genuine Nissan accessory roof rack attachments for the Rock Creek model can be purchased from a Nissan dealer. Always follow recommended usage instructions to ensure proper load support.
The service load capacity of the Rock Creek roof side rails is 220 lb (100 kg). Always confirm that the GVWR and GAWR limits of the vehicle are not exceeded when loading the roof rack.
WARNING
- Install cross bars before loading any cargo on the roof rack. Placing cargo directly on the rack or roof may damage the vehicle.
- Do not exceed maximum roof rack load capacity and always distribute weight evenly.
- Secure all cargo with appropriate straps to prevent shifting that could cause injury in an accident.
- Drive with extra caution when the roof rack is heavily loaded, as stability may be affected.
CAUTION
- Exercise caution when placing or removing items from the roof rack. Use a ladder if needed.
- Do not place loads directly on the roof rack surface. Use soft padding to protect the paint, seals, and supports from rough materials.
