CHECK FUNCTION

CONSULT

  1. Ignition switch ON.

  2. Select “Thigh support motor” in “Active test” mode of “DRIVER SEAT”.

  3. Check thigh support motor LH operation.

YES>>

Inspection End.

NO>>

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK THIGH SUPPORT MOTOR POWER SUPPLY VOLTAGE

CONSULT

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect thigh support motor LH connector.

  3. Ignition switch ON.

  4. Select “Thigh support motor” in “Active Test” mode of “DRIVER SEAT”.

  5. Check voltage between thigh support motor LH harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace seat cushion frame. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly.

NO>>

GO TO 2.

CHECK THIGH SUPPORT MOTOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT (OPEN)

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect driver seat control unit connector.

  3. Check continuity between thigh support motor LH harness connector and driver seat control unit harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair the harness or connector.

CHECK THIGH SUPPORT MOTOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT (SHORT TO GROUND)

Check continuity between thigh support motor LH harness connector and ground.

YES>>

Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

NO>>

Repair the harness or connector.
