B2907-31 Lift Sensor Diagnosis condition When the ignition switch is ON.
Signal (terminal) Lifting Motor (terminal #5)
Threshold Sensor signal not received
Diagnosis delay time 100 mili- seconds or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • LH lifting motor

  • Driver seat control unit

  • Harness and connectors

FAIL-SAFE

Stop automatic drive position function.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CONSULT

  1. Ignition switch ON and wait for 20 seconds or more.

  2. Check “Self diagnosis result” mode of “DRIVER SEAT”.

Is DTC detected?

YES>>

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK LIFTING MOTOR SENSOR SIGNAL

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect driver seat control unit and LH lifting motor.

  3. Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and LH lifting motor harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Connect driver seat control unit and LH reclining motor. Refer to Component Function Check.

NO>>

Repair the harness or connector.
