POSSIBLE CAUSE

Harness and connector between sonar control unit and rear sonar sensor LH side

Sonar control unit
FAIL-SAFE
Stop the obstacle detection function
CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With CONSULT
-
Turn ignition switch ON.
-
Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.
-
Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.
-
Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “SONAR” using CONSULT.
-
Check the DTC.
Is DTC “B2730–17” detected?
YES>>Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO-1>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO-2>>Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK REAR SONAR SENSOR POWER SUPPLY
Check rear sonar sensor power supply circuit. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>INSPECTION END
NO>>Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
