POSSIBLE CAUSE
Sonar control unit
FAIL-SAFE
Stop the obstacle detection function
CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With CONSULT

Turn ignition switch ON.
-
Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.
-
Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.
-
Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “SONAR” using CONSULT.
-
Check the DTC.
Is DTC “B2721–43” detected?
YES>>Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO-1>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO-2>>Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
Diagnosis Procedure
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE AGAIN
With CONSULT

Turn ignition switch ON.
-
Erase DTC.
-
Perform DTC confirmation procedure again. Refer to DTC Description.
Is DTC B2721-43 detected again?
YES>>Replace sonar control unit. Refer to DTC Description.
NO>>INSPECTION END
