Description
DTC B142A IGNITION VOLTAGE
Ignition voltage is supplied to the air bag diagnosis sensor unit when the ignition is in the ON position. The air bag diagnosis sensor unit will monitor for low or high ignition voltage.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE (With CONSULT)
1.INSPECTION START
Turn ignition switch ON.
>> GO TO 2.
2.CHECK SELF-DIAG RESULT
Check for the DTC on CONSULT.
Is the DTC detected? YES >> Refer to SRC-93, "Diagnosis Procedure".
NO >> Inspection End.
Diagnosis Procedure
NOTE: Follow the procedures in numerical order when repairing malfunctioning parts. Confirm whether malfunction is eliminated using air bag warning lamp each time repair is finished. If malfunction is still observed, proceed to the next step. When malfunction is eliminated, further repair work is not required.
1.HARNESS CONNECTOR
Is there any visible damage to the connector? YES or NO YES >> Replace the harness.
NO >> GO TO 2
2.WIRING HARNESS
Is there any visible damage to the harness? YES or NO YES >> Replace the harness.
NO >> GO TO 3
3.AIR BAG DIAGNOSIS SENSOR UNIT
Replace the air bag diagnosis sensor unit. Refer to SR-26, "Removal and Installation".
>> GO TO 4
4.RELATED HARNESS
Replace the related harness.
>> END
