Nissan Rogue Service Manual: The steering switches are inoperative
Description
One or more of the steering switches to control the information display are inoperative.
Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK STEERING SWITCH CIRCUIT
Check steering switch circuit. Refer to MWI-69, "Diagnosis Procedure".
Is the inspection result normal? YES >> GO TO 2.
NO >> Repair or replace harness or connector.
2.CHECK STEERING SWITCH RESISTANCE
Check steering switch resistance. Refer to MWI-69, "Component Inspection".
Is the inspection result normal? YES >> GO TO 3.
NO >> Replace steering switch. Refer to AV-65, "Removal and Installation".
3.CHECK SPIRAL CABLE
Check spiral cable for continuity. Refer to MWI-69, "Component Inspection".
Is the inspection result normal? YES >> Replace combination meter. Refer to MWI-82, "Removal and Installation".
NO >> Replace spiral cable. Refer to SR-15, "Removal and Installation".
The meter control switch is inoperative
