Threshold Communication error between sonar control unit and around view monitor control unit
Diagnosis delay time 2 seconds or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • Sonar control unit

  • Around view monitor control unit

FAIL-SAFE

CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

With CONSULT

  1. Turn ignition switch ON.

  2. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait for 30 seconds.

  3. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 2 seconds or more.

  4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “SONAR” using CONSULT.

  5. Check DTC.

Is DTC B2753-87 detected?

YES>>

Proceed to Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSTIC RESULT OF AROUND VIEW MONITOR CONTROL UNIT

With CONSULT

Check “Self Diagnostic Result” of “AVM” using CONSULT.

Is any DTC detected?

YES>>

Perform trouble diagnosis for detected DTC. Refer to DTC Index.

NO>>

GO TO 2.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE AGAIN

With CONSULT

  1. Turn ignition switch ON.

  2. Erase DTC.

  3. Perform DTC confirmation procedure again. Refer to DTC Description.

Is DTC B2753-87 detected again?

YES>>

Replace sonar control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

NO>>

INSPECTION END
